Enjoy the little things!

Follow Me!

Do you love your father?

I thought I didn't really know my dad. We barely talk to each other since I was a little, things aren't going better even now when I live in another town to pursue my study.

Since in middle school, I thought that I never learn anything at all from my father. He was always busy. I would always come to my mother first if I need anything, I would only talk to my father if the problem was related to money such as school fees and other things. I thought that this relationship isn't healthy, well at least for me. He has never been a hero to me.

I always desired a father figure that can tell stories to his children, play with them in his spare time, going somewhere together and do dad-son talks, being a proud dad with his children accomplishment. I always wanted to have a cool dad.

But then some thought passed my mind, maybe I'm just being ungrateful.

I remember once he bought me a remote control helicopter that I really want, it was like one of the happiest moment in my life. I remember that he helped me to make a lamp for my school project, my dad always loves making things. I remember watching the national geographic channel with him, we were just sat there, talk-less, side by side, watching the stag running from the cheetah on the television.

It makes me realize that a father has his own way to say "I love you" to his children. It might not be a direct utterance, but deep down in his heart, he really means it. It doesn't matter if you have a cool dad or just ordinary-but-still-cool dad like my father. A father's love for his children is the purest thing.

Now, if your dad does bad things to you or if you are lack of a father figure in your life, don't belittle yourself. You could always be a good parent for your children.

I love you, dad.

In my life wishlist, I put travelling as one of the highest priority.

It was not just a thing or two about going somewhere and visits many recreational places. If you're a bookworm, you'll understand the feeling when you found a good new book and then you get lost in it, or if you like to cook, you'll get the feeling when you found a new recipe and then you just happily busying yourself in the kitchen. Travelling is quite the same, only you literally "get lost" in it.

I, myself, never get the chance to visit any other countries or other local cool places because of my routines and activities, but I am dying to do that in the future. That feeling makes me really want to do and always enjoy travelling, so much.

Travelling is an art of enjoying the moment. Whether it is a joyful adventure in foreign places or three-hours stuck in the night bus on the way home. Whether it is with your friends and family or alone by yourself with total strangers. Whether it is a long-planned vacation or a sudden decision of runaway.

It was all the same.

The essence of travelling would be the same, with it you'll be creating a story. A unique experience of living.

Many people just exist but aren't really alive. They do things because they have the urgency to do that, not because they want to do that with all their heart. Many people are insane, only a few realize that they don't just exist to be a part of a bigger story called reality, but they are the author—the mastermind—of their own tiny story.

What they need to know that each tiny stories are linked to another one, and any stories of a particular person could be interconnected to other stories of a different person, and they made a bond, a strong one. And that is the kind of bond which makes you alive, which makes you somewhat understand the essence of life itself.

In the end, you may and will be amazed by how this tiny stories which connected to each other could make a bigger network—a constellation of million stories—that develop greater life meaning, and thus make life worth living.

People have their own story. They made their own choices. They have their own life.

Every single person in this world is unique with different personalities and matters. There are extroverts and introverts. There are people with a bad sense of humour and those who laugh at everything mostly all of the time. There are those who feel empathy and those who don't even care about what they did to others. There are those who want huge attention and those who feel comfortable being little and unnoticed. There are those who feel happy being in the crowd and those who value solitude more than everything else.

And they have reasons for doing that. Sometimes they share it with others, but sometimes they don't.

I just want to write this for those who didn't know that there is something important in the way we talk with other people. That there is something called personal matters.

For example, in some countries, you can't and is considered being rude if you talk about one's age, salary, or household problems. You also can't talk about their sexual orientation, or their relationship with a certain person, or their religion and how much faith do they have for their God, or any other private information that they don't want to share with everyone else. Especially if you are not that close to that person.

It is just not your concern.

And to make it as a joke is even worse.

So, all I need to say is that you should limit yourselves, for nobody has the same personality as yours. Not everybody understands what you're talking about and not everybody gets your joke and maybe some taken it too seriously even if you don't really mean it.

There are conversation etiquettes that you should not violate.

And one other thing that you should know in the art of speaking to other people is they show what they want to show you and they didn't show what they didn't want to show you. So don't expect them as you wanted them to be, for everyone has secrets and everyone could change.

Hi, It's been a long time since the last time I touched my blog haha. and guess what? Now I'm a college student! Many things have changed, people changed, my life changed, and maybe some tiny bit of details in it too was changed. I've found many new good songs, artists, movies, books, and also people. I've been in the place I never went, I've done many things I never thought I could possibly do.

But here is what I wanted to tell you, that encouraged me to write this, in this blog. I've been through the confusion about many things in life, You see, I was lost, not knowing my purpose of living, or what I want to do with my life, or such things teenagers like me always questioning themselves.

One of my best friends said that I'm a great thinker, I always have the idea to do or make things, but never really make an act of it. "Talk less, do less, think more," she said. And maybe she's true, and I hate myself for that. Haha. But hell yeah, that is the truth. I always dream big but never have the guts to make it real, I was pathetic.

I was always wanted to be famous, I created my Youtube channel and fill it with song covers but sadly turns out no one really watching except my closest friends, I wrote stories in Wattpad hoping to be famous enough to publish books but never really finish any single one. I probably also made this blog because I wanted people to see it, became a great blogger that someday I'll get money from it, but as you can see. I abandoned this blog with only a few posts.

Sometimes I wish I could have done better, or at least really do something.

But as the years passing by, I thought something. That I've been wrong all this time. To be famous, to be known by the people, to make some money from it. It is all wrong. When you think again about this life, you could have known that we live in this world to do things for each other, especially your closest friends, family. They are among all other human living on this planet who really cares about you, who would really do something for you too.

It does not matter how big you make an impact on other people's life because even the smallest things could change someone's life. You're not demanded to do something for every single person you meet in your life or influence other people with what you believe and what you can do. Let's be honest that you can't make everyone happy, but just try to do the little things that bring smiles to your friends and family. And remember that it works like a boomerang. You'll also get what you did to them.

Because happiness was not earned by the things that we get and achieve but the things that we do, regardless how big and how much is it.

It is always the little things that make your life more precious. Always see your life in details and maybe you'll find something valuable in it, enjoy the little things, play with your siblings, tell your parents about your day, have quality time with your mom and dad, give your neighbours gifts, ask your friends to come to your house, say "Thank you," and "Please," to everyone, give smiles to strangers, say "Sorry," and accept other people apologies, talk with people you meet in the streets, hear your favorite songs with your favorite person. Believe me, that it is all worth it.

And when someone asked me "What is your purpose in life?",

I would gladly say "To be happy, and to bring the happiness to the people around me, especially my friends and family."

Talking about time, that is mean talking about uncertainty. It has no shape yet we can feel, it has no boundaries yet we can count. It is indefinite, a complex enigma.

Once, Stephen Hawking believes that the universe does have a beginning, but then he disproves it because what lies beyond is nothing and meaningless. In other words, space and time did not exist previously.

For then, the universe—the space and the time—do not have the end or beginning. There are only the possibilities of the history of the universe itself.

But then again, it is your choice whether to believe it or not. As for me, I intend to figure it out.

"I'm scared."

"Of what?"

"Guess it?"

"Ghosts? Arachnids? Clowns?"

"Time."

"Time?"

"Time, that's what I'm afraid of. Are you afraid of it?"

"Every single person in this world should be afraid of it."

"You mean that's normal?"

"True."

"And why is that? Are you afraid of it?"

"You can never learn God's mind, that is why."

"Oh, you're right."

"Glad it helps."

"But did you know what I'm really scared of?"

"I'm all ears."

"The truth that there is the end of the time; apocalypse, planets collision, sun's supernova, and such things. And say that if there's life after it, say that if the concept of heaven and hell exist, that we could live again in another realm, forever, infinite, eternal. Then what happened? Say that we're going to heaven, are we gonna do some kind of habit? Waking up, socializing, eating, sleeping, and then waking up again, more socializing, then eating again, and then some more sleeping, and then finally waking up again on the next day, so on and on, forever! Even when we're doing something we like, it has one point—the breaking point—where we got bored, isn't it? It just somehow freaking me out."

"Couldn't be more agree, but that's one question humans shouldn't know the answer."

"Are you afraid of it?"

"You know what I've found most funny behind all of these?"

"What is it?"

"Did you realize that you can't really count the time? what we've count; sixty seconds per minute, sixty minutes per hour, twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, four weeks per month, twelve months per year, it's all just a system made by a roman man called Gaius Julius Caesar and later refined by Pope Gregory, that's where it gets the name, Gregorian Calendar."

"You're always trying to ignore my question, didn't you?"

"I'd rather pretend that I don't."

"What?"

"You asked me if I'm afraid of the time, and that's my answer. I'd rather pretend that I don't."

"So you're afraid of it?"

"Tell me, if we could break down the entire timeline into three distinct parts, what could it be?"

"The past, the present, and the future."

"Exactly. The past is undeniably unchangeable, and the one who dwells within will never get along in life. While on the other side, the future is undoubtedly unpredictable, and the one who dwells within will ever forget how to live."

"What about the present?"

"The present as you may already know; it is real, it is now, it is happening. You're just thinking too far that our humanly brain couldn't reach. As long as we still breathe oxygen, just live in the present, enjoy the moment, feel it. You have to learn how to respect the time."

"And why should I do that?"

"Because the one who disrespects time, disrespect God."

Hi guys! by the way, today is actually my last day of exam in my 'real' school. But it doesn't matter. However, I'll share something that you might be interested in. For you, Potterhead or not, who doesn't know there is a website which can enrol you to be a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There is! It's called Pottermore, and it's official from J.K. Rowling herself and the team.

I highly recommend you to check this out. And it's not only had the feature to register yourself as a student in Hogwarts, but it also gives you information about almost everything in the wizarding world. The other stories, The fact about the characters, locations, creatures, spells, etc. Not to mention that it contents the play and its eighth book of the novels: Harry Potter and The Cursed Child. Also, they posted about the upcoming movie that will be released on this November: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.

And now, I'm glad to announce to you that I was sorted in the great Slytherin House!
even though I'm thinking about Ravenclaw at the moment I started the test. Whoops, a lil bit spoiler. I think they forgot where they put the sorting hat or maybe someone took it as their Halloween property. And yeah! I'll be happy to know if you were sorted in the same house as I am, give it a try! we could be a roommate and attend the class together.

Oh! I almost forget to tell you, I brought this one from Mr Ollivander Shop, this wand had chosen me to be its owner. It has unicorn hair as its core, covered by sycamore wood, twelve inches long, and had slightly springy flexibility. It is said that the sycamore's ideal owner curious, vital, and adventurous eh, am I? I think so.
Okay, maybe that's all from me as the clock on my room already pointed at 4. I need to study for my exam, or not. Hah! I'm just gonna read more stories on Pottermore. Bye!

Hi! This is my first entry, just have done making all the pages and testing (with few editing) the HTML/CSS coding templates, this one is called Boxer from Sora Templates if you are curious. So yeah, see you later in the next post!
